CED is a nationwide distributor of electrical supplies for electrical contractors, industrials, and other users of electrical supplies. We have over 700 locations and focus on serving our customers locally with a high level of service, integrity, and reliability.

Technical Sales and Quotations Specialist:

This role deals with quoting our more technical products, and is responsible for a potentially large portion of our sales. The Technical Sales and Quotations Specialist will take off construction projects, submit quotations, convert those quotations into orders, manage the project (logistics, tracking, submittal approvals), and provide technical support.

Successful candidates are detail oriented, interested in fostering strong relationships with customers, reliable, and prepared for hard work.

Previous experience in the electrical industry would speed up the training process, but is not required.

Duties include but are not limited to:

§ Inside Sales

§ Customer Service

§ Developing Product Knowledge

§ Purchasing

§ Digital Initiatives (Customer Portal Maintenance, Mobile App, etc.)

Qualities of a Successful Candidate:

§ Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)

§ Willingness to take on a variety of tasks

§ Desire to grow sales and maximize profitability

§ Comfortable in a warehouse setting

§ Strong leadership

Typical Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
